Edit System Maintenance
1. Choose SY then General Data from the main menu bar. You can click on the menu selection or highlight the selection with the cursor keys, then press the ENTER key.
Make certain you know
the fields
you want to edit and what they represent. Changing
these fields will affect the way VFP 2000
functions. To learn what the fields
represent, go to the System
Maintenance form field description section. Click on each of the
tabs in the figure above GL,
AR, AP, IC, PO, etc. and you will be taken to the related
section's field definition table.
2. Click the Edit ICON
from
the toolbar.
3. The System Maintenance form will go into the edit
mode. In the edit mode, the toolbar buttons
are disabled except for the SAVE
button.
4. Proceed to edit the System Maintenance information you need to change.
Select the Tabs labeled GL, AR, AP, IC, PO, etc.
for the related section parameters that you want to
edit.
5. When finished editing the data, click the Save ICON
on
the toolbar. You will be prompted to confirm
your intention to save the data just entered.
If you select YES, the changes made to the System Maintenance will be saved. If you select NO, the changes made to the System Maintenance will be discarded.
6.
You will be returned to the
System Maintenance form. To exit, click the
Exit ICON
from the toolbar.
7. Repeat the preceding steps to edit the System Maintenance form.
